ZEN C/Q/CQ Series Universal Quick-Release Mount – ZT-AC02

The ZT-AC02 Universal Quick-Release Mount is the rail-side base of Zentron’s modular mounting system. It securely attaches compatible ZEN C, Q, and CQ Series thermal devices to a standard MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail.

Its spring-loaded clamping mechanism and quick-release lever provide firm rail engagement while allowing the thermal device to be installed or removed quickly. By pairing the ZT-AC02 with the correct device-specific adapter or riser, users can configure one mounting system for multiple Zentron product platforms.

Choose the Correct Adapter or Riser

The ZT-AC02 is the Picatinny rail-side quick-release base. A compatible device-side adapter or riser is required to connect your thermal device.

For ZEN Q Series Thermal Scopes

Use the:

• ZT-AC02-QA — Q Series Quick-Detach Adapter

The ZT-AC02-QA attaches to the bottom of a compatible Q Series thermal scope and connects it to the ZT-AC02 quick-release base.

For ZEN C Series Thermal Clip-Ons

Choose the riser that matches the optical centerline height of your daytime riflescope:

• ZT-AC0215 — 1.5-Inch C Series Riser
• ZT-AC0217 — 1.7-Inch C Series Riser

Correct height selection helps align the thermal clip-on with the optical axis of the daytime scope.

For MEGA / CQ Series Thermal Devices

Choose the compatible CQ Series riser:

• ZT-AC0215CQ — 1.5-Inch CQ Series Riser
• ZT-AC0217CQ — 1.7-Inch CQ Series Riser

These risers connect compatible MEGA/CQ Series devices to the ZT-AC02 quick-release base while providing the appropriate optical centerline height.

How to Select the Correct Height

Measure the distance from the top surface of the rifle’s Picatinny rail to the center of the daytime optic:

• Select the 1.5-inch riser for a 1.5-inch optical centerline.
• Select the 1.7-inch riser for a 1.7-inch optical centerline.

For clip-on configurations, the thermal device and daytime optic should use matching optical centerline heights for proper alignment.

Compatibility Summary

Important: The ZT-AC02 quick-release base does not attach directly to the thermal device. The correct device-specific adapter or riser is required and may be sold separately unless included with the device package.
