ZENTRON FIELD PARTNERS

Four hunters. Different country. One shared standard for showing up in the field.

01 Billy Jack Worthington III with his hunting setup

Billy Jack Worthington III

University of Texas

Fort Worth, Texas

Billy represents the University of Texas and hunts just about everything Texas has to offer—from whitetail deer, turkey, dove, and duck to hogs, coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, and jackrabbits.

Hunts

Whitetail · Turkey · Dove · Duck · Hogs · Coyotes · Bobcat · Raccoons · Jackrabbits

Setup

Tikka T3X .270 WIN
Suppressed 10.5" .300 Blackout AR-15

Favorite Zentron optic

MEGA CQ25R

Billy prefers the MEGA CQ25R because of its versatility. Its 4-in-1 mounting options let him adapt one thermal platform to different hunting setups depending on what the night calls for.

Zentron isn’t just a high-end thermal optics company—it’s a team and a family. The support is incredible, and the community we're building keeps getting bigger and better.

What really stands out is that Zentron listens to hunters. They pay attention to what consumers actually want and need and make adjustments accordingly. That's massive in the hunting industry.

At the end of the day, Zentron just makes sense.

02 Megan Ybarra with her hunting setup

Megan Ybarra

Sam Houston State University

Dallas, Texas

Megan is a Sam Houston State University graduate with a passion for hunting and the outdoors.

Deer hunting is her favorite because of the challenge that comes with every hunt. For Megan, it takes patience, preparation, and respect—and that's what makes a successful harvest so rewarding. Once the sun goes down, the focus shifts to thermal hunting and putting pressure on Texas hogs.

Hunts

Deer · Hogs · Bow Hunting · Thermal Hunting

Setup

Mathews PRIMA
Suppressed 7.62x39

Favorite Zentron optic

MEGA CQ25R

Megan loves the MEGA CQ25R for its image quality, built-in laser rangefinder, and versatility. One platform can be handheld, clip-on, helmet-mounted, or used as a standalone scope. She's also a fan of the Q50R for its impressive image clarity.

One of the things I love most about working with Zentron is the family atmosphere. Everyone is welcoming, supportive, and genuinely passionate about hunting—not just selling a product.

The thermals speak for themselves, which makes it easy to stand behind something you genuinely believe in. But the people behind the brand are what really stand out. They're authentic hunters who love what they do and are always willing to support the hunting community.

03 Ethan Silva with his hunting setup

Ethan Silva

Texas A&M University

Harlingen, Texas

Ethan represents Texas A&M University and brings a South Texas hunting perspective to the Zentron Field Partner team.

Growing up around the hunting opportunities of South Texas, Ethan developed a particular passion for pursuing nilgai, coyotes, and hogs.

Hunts

Nilgai · Coyotes · Hogs

Setup

Kopes Precision 6.5 Grendel
Otter Creek Labs Hydrogen L

Favorite Zentron optic

Q50R

The Q50R is Ethan's thermal of choice, giving him the image quality and performance he wants for his nighttime hunting setup.

I enjoy working with Zentron because of the energy and positivity the entire team brings every day. It truly feels like a family.

04 Ian Shugart with his hunting setup

Ian Shugart

Texas Tech University

Lubbock, Texas

Ian represents Texas Tech University and brings a mix of West Texas predator hunting and western big-game experience to the Zentron Field Partner team.

With access to his family's ranch in New Mexico, western big game has always been an important part of Ian's hunting life, with elk at the top of his list. A coyote was the first animal he ever hunted and harvested alongside his dad—an experience that helped start his passion for hunting. Hogs also take up a big part of his time throughout the year.

Hunts

Elk · Western Big Game · Coyotes · Hogs · Predators

Setup

Thompson Center Venture .22-250
6mm Creedmoor incoming

Favorite Zentron optic

Q50R

The Q50R is currently Ian's preferred Zentron optic because of how well it works with his bolt-action hunting style. He's also looking forward to running the C50R as a dedicated thermal clip-on paired with his daytime rifle and optic.

I think Zentron has unreal potential in the thermal industry—not only because of the quality of the products, but because of the pricing and value they bring to hunters.

I really enjoy the team aspect of Zentron and the people we get to work with. The thermals are fantastic, but the relationships we've gained through Zentron are even better.
