Zentron USA Warranty & Service Policy

Zentron USA stands behind its optics and supports customers before and after purchase. This policy explains warranty coverage, returns, repairs, replacements, service eligibility, and customer responsibilities for products purchased from Zentron USA or an authorized Zentron dealer.

Warranty Duration

  1. Thermal devices with 384 resolution and higher: 5-year limited warranty from the original purchase date.
  2. All other thermal, night vision, and digital devices: 3-year limited warranty, unless otherwise stated on the product page or product documentation.
  3. Image intensifier tubes, if applicable: 1-year limited warranty.
  4. Accessories, batteries, chargers, cables, mounts, and consumable parts: covered only against manufacturing defects unless a separate warranty is stated for that item.

Warranty Coverage

Zentron USA warrants eligible products against manufacturing defects and breakage associated with intended normal use during the applicable warranty period. If an eligible product fails under normal use, Zentron USA will repair or replace it according to this policy.

  • Defects from normal intended use are covered.
  • Parts and labor are covered during the applicable warranty period.
  • If an eligible warranty repair cannot be completed within 10 business days after Zentron USA receives the unit, Zentron USA may replace it with a unit in equal or better condition.
  • Replacement units may be new, refurbished, or equivalent-condition products at Zentron USA's discretion.

30-Day Return or Exchange Policy

Products purchased directly from zentronusa.com may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below. To start a return or exchange, contact info@zentronusa.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Returns sent without an approved RMA will not be accepted.

Return Conditions

  1. Returned items must be in new condition, unused, undamaged, and in the original manufacturer's packaging.
  2. All original contents must be included, including manuals, accessories, mounts, cables, batteries, tools, promotional items, gifts, and any additional components included with the purchase.
  3. All returns and exchanges require an approved RMA before shipment.
  4. Bundles, kits, promotional packages, special order items, wholesale accounts, dealer purchases, and high-value contracts may be excluded from the standard return policy.
  5. If a return is incomplete, damaged, used, missing components, or not in new condition, Zentron USA may deny the return, deduct missing or damaged item costs, apply a restocking fee, or return the product to the customer at the customer's expense.

Repair or Replacement Process

  1. Contact info@zentronusa.com to request service and obtain an RMA.
  2. Include proof of purchase, product model, serial number, issue description, contact information, and shipping address.
  3. Ship the product only after receiving RMA instructions from Zentron USA.
  4. After inspection, Zentron USA will determine whether the issue is covered by warranty and whether the product will be repaired, replaced, or returned.
  5. If the product is diagnosed as unrepairable or outside warranty coverage, our service team will contact you with available options.

Shipping Costs for Warranty Service

  • For warranty service requested within the first 30 days after delivery, Zentron USA will cover standard shipping costs for eligible warranty repairs within the United States.
  • After the first 30 days, customers are responsible for shipping the product to Zentron USA or an authorized service location.
  • Zentron USA will cover standard return shipping to the customer for approved warranty repairs within the United States.
  • Expedited shipping, insurance, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and costs related to warranty claims outside the United States are not covered unless approved in writing by Zentron USA.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, improper handling, improper storage, or use outside the product's intended purpose.
  • Failure to follow product instructions, warnings, storage requirements, maintenance guidance, or safety procedures.
  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, scratches, dents, finish wear, or other appearance-related issues that do not affect function.
  • Intentional damage, theft, loss, fire, flooding, lightning, natural disasters, force majeure events, or other external causes.
  • Sensor core burns or damage, including damage caused by improper exposure, operator error, or use outside recommended conditions.
  • Damage caused by host weapons, ammunition, recoil systems, mounts, accessories, or third-party equipment not supplied or approved by Zentron USA.
  • Unauthorized repair, disassembly, modification, maintenance, tampering, or alteration by the customer or any third party without prior written approval from Zentron USA.
  • Products with altered, missing, removed, or unverifiable serial numbers, invoices, labels, or documentation.

Refinishing and Modifications

  • Air-cured Cerakote or paint will not automatically void the warranty.
  • Oven-cured Cerakote will void the warranty.
  • If a refinished optic requires replacement, Zentron USA may exchange it for a unit in equal or better condition with a factory finish.
  • Zentron USA is not responsible for lens damage, seal damage, overspray, heat damage, or other issues caused by refinishing, coating, paint, or non-factory modifications.

Authorized Purchases

Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from Zentron USA or from an authorized Zentron dealer. Products purchased from unauthorized channels may not be eligible for warranty coverage.

This warranty does not apply to products obtained through unauthorized sellers, unverifiable private resales, gray-market channels, or any source where Zentron USA cannot validate proof of purchase, serial number, or chain of custody.

Transferability

This warranty is transferable only when Zentron USA can verify the product's original authorized purchase and valid proof of purchase. Private resale buyers may be asked to provide the original receipt, serial number, seller information, and any other documentation required to validate warranty eligibility.

Order Cancellation

  • To cancel an order, contact info@zentronusa.com before the order ships.
  • Once an order has left our warehouse, it cannot be canceled or rerouted.
  • Orders canceled before shipment will receive a full refund. Your bank or payment provider may take 5-10 business days to post the refund.

Refunds for Shipped Orders

  • Shipped orders must follow the RMA return process.
  • Refunds are processed after Zentron USA receives and inspects the returned product.
  • Approved refunds are typically processed within 2-3 business days after inspection approval, but your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post funds.
  • Deductions may apply for missing items, damaged items, used condition, shipping costs, restocking fees, or incomplete returns.

Shipping Errors, Lost Packages, and Incorrect Items

  • Zentron USA is not responsible for shipping errors caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided at checkout.
  • If tracking shows delivered but the package is missing, contact Zentron USA within 7 days and also contact the carrier.
  • Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments may require a carrier claim through UPS, USPS, or the applicable carrier.
  • If you receive an incorrect item or are missing items from your shipment, contact Zentron USA promptly at info@zentronusa.com.

Export Control and U.S. Shipping

Due to U.S. export control and ITAR-related restrictions, Zentron USA does not ship thermal optics or controlled products to international addresses. Customers are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding purchase, possession, use, transfer, and resale of these products.

Export Control and Restricted Use

Thermal optics and related products may be subject to U.S. export control laws and other restrictions. Zentron USA does not ship controlled products to international addresses. Buyers are responsible for lawful purchase, possession, use, transfer, storage, and resale. Products may not be exported, re-exported, transferred, or used in violation of U.S. law or applicable local laws.

Third-Party Links and Tools

Our website may include third-party links, tools, apps, or services. We are not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, content, policies, or transactions. Use of third-party tools or websites is at your own risk.

Privacy

Your submission of personal information through the store is governed by our Privacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions and any separate agreements for products or services are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where prohibited by applicable law.
